The economical wetsuit features a 3/2-millimeter full design, with super-light, warm, and durable Ultraflex DS neoprene on the chest and back, and lightweight, soft, and stretchy Fluidflex on the arms and legs for optimum mobility. The suit is made for the rigors of the sea, with LSD (lumbar seamless design) - a single large panel in the rear area that minimizes water entry and maximizes stretch when sitting on the board.

Strategic paddle zones are created by an ergonomic, seamless undersleeve panel that allows for unrestricted motion and eliminates rashing for optimum performance comfort and zero chafing while riding. Rated for cool water, from 10 to 15 degrees Celsius, the Epic-2 takes no chances with the cold. The GBS Seams are double stitched partially through the surface and triple glued to create a watertight seal with tape added to critical areas.

The blackout zip has offset zipper teeth to greatly reduce water entry, and the Single Super Seal Neck is fully adjustable for a comfort fit with a 360 smooth skin interior, chafe-free unfinished edge, and minimal bulk design. The Epic-2 is also equipped with abrasion-resistant, high-stretch neoprene Krypto Knee Padz with ergonomic shaping designed to extend the life of the wetsuit and protect the knee while punching through waves.

Unfinished leg openings are easy to take on and off, provide a good level of seal, and are durable. The suit also has a completely secure and easy to access external key pocket located along the lower leg inseam and constructed of Ultraflex DS neoprene. The Fall 2008 Epic has been given a complete new look, with all the great features that make it function and feel like a suit costing twice the price.
